Location: Tokyo Studio
Department: Operations
Moon’s Operations team is looking for a Workplace Coordinator to join our team based in Tokyo.
We are the “smooth operators and the cultural gardeners” of Moon, making sure everything and everyone is working in their optimal work environment in order to allow ideas to flow freely. Operations looks after physical and digital logistics for MoonMates, from stocking supplies to asset tracking to coordinating studio maintenance needs like cleaning, facilities inspections, and repairs.
The right candidate is a sociable, self-starting individual who loves working with creative teams to create atmosphere and team spirit. As a Workplace Coordinator you will be part of the team responsible specifically for supporting daily logistical activities in Tokyo.
The Workplace Coordinator should be inclined to pitch in with whatever is needed at the moment – channelling hospitality and organizational sensibilities and has a knack for relating to all kinds of people. We expect this person to have a “no task too big, no task too small” attitude with a natural inclination to get their hands dirty.
Moon Tokyo is a fun, inspiring space and it takes work to keep it that way! You will ensure that studio provisions - everything from batteries and paper towel to coffee and tools for the Maker Space - are stocked and refreshed. You will be the point of contact for studio deliveries and vendors including cleaners and maintenance personnel. You’ll be the eyes and ears of the Tokyo based MoonMates, capturing their comments and insights on the usability of the space, and proposing improvement projects. You will help manage building access, and any other tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly.
Moon Tokyo hosts a variety of visitors, internal and public events, as well as international cross functional meetings. You will work across teams to support event coordinators, hosts, and any other team needs. In collaboration with your global operations team, you will use your innovative spirit to help create a simple, supportive, and streamlined structure for all of Moon Tokyo.
If you identify with Moon's values and would like to contribute to our work, please submit your resume and optionally, a cover letter.
