About

&lt;p&gt;Moon is hiring an &lt;strong&gt;Associate Design Researcher (Contractor)&lt;/strong&gt; who is passionate, self-driven, and open to deepening their skills within Design/UX Research as well as expanding their skills in different areas within Design (e.g. Strategic Design, UX/UI, Product Design, etc.). The ideal candidate is infinitely curious, analytical, and creative.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You can work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to bridge the gap between user needs/behaviors/aspirations, business priorities/strategy, and product development. As a contractor, you will work with Team/Design leads to define/refine and execute the scope of work across different stages of new product development/business creation for the project(s) at Moon.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is a part-time contract role based in Tokyo for an initial term of 3 months, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week. There is a possibility of contract extension based on the business needs and performance.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Work closely with Design Leads, Business Creators, and Entrepreneurs in bringing a new product to life&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Execute various research types of research, included but not limited to Market Research, Qualitative Research and User Studies (emphasis on Qualitative Research)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Synthesize research, identify key insights, and collaborate with the team to define implications for key business/product decisions&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Join brainstorming sessions, as needed, and be a thought partner to the broader team - expanding your thinking into different areas but bringing your unique POV/experience to the table (as both a researcher and beyond)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Assist in defining opportunities for potential research projects and working with the team to prioritize what can/should be done&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Experiment with proven and develop new research studies&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Moon is hiring a &lt;strong&gt;Director of Finance and Accounting&lt;/strong&gt;, who will be responsible for leading the Finance function for Moon Creative Lab at both our Palo Alto, California and Tokyo, Japan studios. The Director of Finance and Accounting will oversee core accounting, tax, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. We are looking for a hands-on, roll up your sleeves type of professional who thrives in a global environment.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

You will work across multiple teams to achieve our ambitious agenda. Director of Finance and Accounting (Tokyo)

&lt;p&gt;We are seeking a curiosity-driven &lt;strong&gt;Full-Stack Engineer&lt;/strong&gt; to join our team. You&#39;ll own the development and testing of our software stack, from our web applications to our data-capture infrastructure, collaborating with our cross-disciplinary design and technical team to define feature priorities, design solutions that scale, and ship fast. What we need is execution with judgment: someone who can take a problem — not a pre-defined ticket — and ship it end-to-end. We&#39;re not looking for someone who executes a spec and moves on. &lt;li&gt;Proven experience in relationship building, partnership development, and ecosystem curation across startups, corporations, and research institutions.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Strong familiarity with emerging technologies (particularly AI/ML) and the ability to evaluate technical opportunities and trends without needing a formal engineering background.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ability to effectively translate between deep business/enterprise challenges and cutting-edge technical possibilities.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Exceptional relationship-building skills with a proven track record of influencing and managing multiple stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build trust across diverse cultures.&lt;/li&gt;
