Mitsui's Deputy General Manager of Corporate Planning & Strategy Div. As the Director of Moon, he oversees the strategy of Moon as a whole and builds connections with its parent organization, Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
At Mitsui & Co., he has been engaged in various businesses such as online marketing startup LinkShare Japan, US venture capital MGI, Mitsui Knowledge Industry (MKI), IHH Healthcare in Singapore, etc., and spent more than half of his careers working on the ground outside of Mitsui HQ.
After going to junior high and high school in the US and graduated from Kyoto University with a Bachelor of Laws.
He has a qualification of Registered Management Consultant.
On the weekends, he enjoys running and cycling with his three children, including twins.
Moon celebrated International Women’s Day during the entire month of March with different activities and discussions focused on how we can improve representation, tackle stereotypes, and support women in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Moon recently worked with the founder of an AI-powered creative studio that enables people to design custom toys and produce them at any scale, from a single prototype to a mass production.
